Chapter 7: Arguments
“Finally…”muttered Chilled as Seamus came outside.
“What have you been doing? We were waiting for forever!” exclaimed Diction.
“Nothing you need to worry about. I’m here now, so can we just go?” asked Seamus, adjusting his backpack.
“Yes, everyone stay close. Seamus, we need to talk,” said Jamie as they started off at a somewhat swift pace.
“Alright,” said the blond, falling into s
First Date PaperFirst Date Paper
Nervous, that’s how I felt as I walked to the front of her house and knocked softly, waiting for the other as I ran my fingers through my black hair as I tried to calm myself. This was it, my first date ever with the girl I’d had a crush on for what seemed like forever, today was the day. I bit my lip nervously as the door swung and she stood there, her beauty radiating from her and I caught my breath. Her brunette hair was falling in waves, surrounding her flawless face, blue eyes glowing at me. She wore a black shirt with jeans and the usual glasses and sneakers, not bothering to dress up seeing as I had told her it wasn’t anything big we were doing. “Alice, you look nice.”
“Oh thank you Adrian! You look nice as well,” she said and stepped from her house and closing the door and locking it. “Where are we off to?”
“You’ll see beautiful, it’s a surprise,” I replied curtly
Hot ChocolateAleks took a deep breath, relaxed and let it out, as he let the delicious, warm and chocolaty smell float over him. He smiled and held the drink close, before he took a sip, the warm liquid tasting delicious as it slipped down his throat and warmed him slowly. He let out a content sigh, blinking in small rays of sunlight that flooded in through the nearby window. Leaning on the counter, he turned his head to the sound of footsteps and came face to face with a handsome male of whom he loved. He smiled, locking eyes with the male and he asked, “How does that hot chocolate taste?”
“Delicious, “Aleks replied warmly.
“Ugh…I wish I could have some hot chocolate, but you took the last packet,” sighed the male.
“Well James, there is one way you could try some” cooed Aleks playfully.
“Oh? How so?” asked the taller male.
“Like this” cooed the brunette and he drank some hot coco before pulling the other down to his lev
The OneThey say that there’s that one person out there and when you see each other, you’ll know it’s them, but you have to seize that once in a lifetime opportunity to speak to them, to interact, to touch them. This was that moment.
I hadn’t expected it to happen today or anytime soon, but it did. I was simply going to the local coffee shop, when my eyes rested upon him, the most handsome boy I’d ever seen. I knew right when I saw him, he was the one, but fear rushed through my veins. This was another guy, not a girl, a guy. I’d known for a longtime I was homosexual, but I was worried. Once I found my special person, would they accept me, or turn away and think I was a freak? I sighed, only one way to find out, I thought and quickly ordered a hot chocolate and waited for them to finish making my drink as I paid. Soon, they gave me my drink and I thanked the cashier, before I made my way over to the boy. His dark brunette locks surrounded his face per
Author’s Note: All point of views are first person, just thought I would clarify this.
I yawned softly as I blinked awake, eyes half closed as the sunlight flooded in through the window. I rolled over, expecting to find the smaller male next to me, but found the other gone. I sat up, utterly confused and somewhat startled as I quickly glanced around the room, finding the room void of any other human being. I got out of bed and the smell of something delicious hit me and I felt my stomach tighten slightly with hunger and a soft growl came from it. I chuckled to myself and headed for the door, the sound of sizzling food coming from the kitchen and the smell of food increasing as I opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. I walked down the hallway and stopped at the end, leaning against the wall and smiling as I spotted the other. He stood in the kitchen by the stove, the sunlight making his dark br
Memories of the Past Prologue Prologue
Dark, cold and alone is what I was, trapped inside my own mind and all I could hear was my own, shallow breath. I groaned in pain as blood trickled from my injured shoulder and my side. I opened my once bright red eyes that were now almost fully icy blue and held little red inside. I let out another groan, shifting my hands and the soft clang of chains was heard, echoing off unseen walls. My gaze slowly shifted over to the light, neon colored chains that held me down. I could no longer feel the electricity flowing through them, for my wrists were numb from the electrical shocks that had long since burned them. “Hehehe~. Not much longer Maple, soon you’ll be able to embrace your power and the ‘freedom’ that comes with it,” said that horrible, dark silky voice, signaling her approach.
“N-No I don’t want this…” I growled through gritted teeth as she appeared in my vision.
She laughed smilin
HomesickI am the river's son,
my arteries flowing turquoise
and turning to rapids
rushing around my frame,
filling me with this sense
of buoyancy, minnows
tickling my sternum.
I am the river's son.
My palms caress each
silty shoreline, every
battered bank and bend,
and these places I know
so well become me
as my fingerprint,
even the bridge above me
inflamed by the afternoon
sun-glow, burning rusty and
the steel blue sky.
I am the river's son;
I bring my home along
like hermit crab,
where I step
I pull water from the earth.
